CNR ISPC present at the 5th edition of RO.ME - Museum Exhibition, an international fair for institutions and companies involved in museums, cultural places and art, in order to share projects and business opportunities.
RO.ME - Museum Exhibition, organized by Fiera di Roma and ISI.Urb, under the patronage of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Lazio Region, Roma Capitale, Unioncamere Lazio and the Chamber of Commerce of Rome, will be held at the National Central Library in Rome from November 16 to 18, 2022.
Within this international framework, CNR ISPC's BHILab, on November 18, 2022, is organizing a session entitled "New frontier of HBIM for smart preservation and management of museums and cultural places, the museum in the digital era: narrative, fruition, new paradigms," in collaboration with Sapienza University of Rome, Department of History Design and Restoration of Architecture (DSDRA).
Among the latest research contributions on the digitization of heritage, the topic of Building Information Model (BIM) is emerging as it is applied to the management of museums and the collections they house.
This will be an opportunity, therefore, to present goals, ongoing activities and future scenarios of Heritage BIM through two ongoing research projects coordinated by CNR ISPC's BHiLab: HBIM4LazioHeritage and HBIM4MANN.
